James Leaming, manager of the Jellystone Park Sturbridge Massachusetts campground, has been recognized as Operator of the Year by the Jellystone Park franchise system.
The Operator of the Year Award is given in recognition of excellence in management, customer service, inspection scores and growth of business.
“We are so excited to be recognized as Operators of the Year,” said Leaming. “We truly love taking care of our guests, and we’re proud to bring families a great budget-friendly way to enjoy each other and make wonderful memories.”
The closest Massachusetts campground to historic Old Sturbridge Village, the park features full-hookup RV camping, tent camping and rustic cabin rentals. Woodall Publications announced the top-rated, privately-owned RV parks and campgrounds in North America through its 5W/5W rating system. Of the 8,000 privatelyowned parks listed in its 2012 North American Campground Directory, 363 parks earned the highest and most coveted designation in the Woodall’s rating system.

The Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Campground in Mill Run , PA has been recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Jellystone Park franchise system. The award recognizes Campgrounds that show a strong growth in business over the prior year.
The premier campground in Southwest Pennsylvania, Jellystone Park at Mill Run is in the heart of the Laurel Mountains and perfectly situated to easily enjoy nearby activities and attractions like Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, Living Treasures Animal Park, nature hiking, white water rafting, kayaking and antiquing. Located on 27 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Texas Hill Country, the campground is just 13 miles from New Braunfels and less than an hour from Austin and Houston. Guests will love the brand-new sparkling pool and kid-friendly splash park that opened for the 2011 camping season, as well as the indoor pool, Jumping Pillow, meeting rooms, Laser Tag, disc golf, Gem Mine, sand volleyball court, half court basketball, horseshoe pits, playground and Jellystone Hall, which is perfect for family reunions or church retreats. The park also allows day visitors to its pool and splash park, and rents its meeting rooms and Jellystone Hall to the public, making it a great day destination for locals.
The Joneses, whose children also work at the campground, were chosen for their commitment to consistent improvement to their growing park. In addition to the new pool, splash park and disc golf, they have recently added a jumping pillow and camping cabins.

The Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Campground in Toronto, Ontario has been recognized with the Maple Leaf Award by the Jellystone Park franchise system. The award honors a Canadian franchisee for commitment and dedication to the Jellystone Park franchise and to providing a top-quality camping experience for guests.
Jellystone Park Toronto offers guests a choice of 150 spacious campsites, each with a picnic table and inground campfire ring, or their unique “Canadian Habitats,” 200-square foot, full-frame camping shelters (sometimes called “yurts.”) The closest campground to Canada’s Wonderland theme park, the campground also features a heated swimming pool, sand volleyball, mini-putt golf, playground, walking trails, wagon rides with Yogi Bear, and an activities pavilion. The Barry and Corcimiglia families, owners of the Jellystone Park™ Campground in Fremont, Indiana , have been recognized with the Facility of the Year Award by the Jellystone Park franchise system. The award is given to the Campground that has added new amenities and facilities while also showing sustained improvements on current amenities.
Located on northeastern Indiana’s beautiful Barton Lake, Fremont’s Jellystone Park Campground offers 540 scenic campsites and 36 cabins and cottages; three additional rustic cabins will be available this season. The campground features a wide array of amenities, from indoor and outdoor pools to a water playground, Zoomflume and Speed & Tube waterslides, five playgrounds, kiddie train rides, Water Wars, paddle and rowboat rentals, and so much more. A new lounge pool will make its debut in the swimming area this season. Planned activities and themed weekends make camping more fun than ever all season long. The park earned the Facility of the Year award in part due to the 2010 addition of a fourth swimming pool complete with a pavilion. “We are honored to have received the 2010 Facility of the Year Award from our franchisor,” said Roger Barry, who has owned the Fremont park for more than 30 years. “We take great pride in providing excellent amenities and customer service so each guest has the ultimate camping experience.” The campground has won the Facility of the Year award a total of five times since joining the Jellystone Park family in 1982.
