Have questions about our Zion, Utah, Camp-Resort? We have answers.- What is the check-in time for cabins at Jellystone Park Zion? Click On What is the check-in time for cabins at Jellystone Park Zion? Check-in time is 4 pm. We do have an early access option beginning at 2pm, but it is based on availability (must call ahead) and involves a fee based on the time of check-in. Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival. Early access only guarantees access to the campground and campground amenities, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability – please call for info. We absolutely cannot accommodate cabin access prior to 2 pm, so please plan your travel accordingly.
- What is the checkout time for cabins at Jellystone Park Zion? Click On What is the checkout time for cabins at Jellystone Park Zion? Extended access (after checkout time) does not guarantee guests will be able to stay on the cabin site until departing from the park. Extended access only guarantees access to the campground and campground attractions, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability.

Only 1 vehicle is allowed per cabin; extra vehicles will be charged a fee of $10 a day and must park in the overflow lot. Day guest vehicles must also park in overflow lot.

Additional person fees are as follows: Winter: Day/Night - $15 /overnight $45 /4-7 Nights Non-Peak: Day/night - $25 /overnight $75 /4-7 Nights Peak & Holiday: Day/Night - $39 /overnight $117 /4-7 Nights
- Am I allowed to bring a flag to display at Jellystone Park Zion? Click On Am I allowed to bring a flag to display at Jellystone Park Zion? The following flags are allowed to be displayed at your site and throughout the campground, American, Canadian, Military, including Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans, sports and decorative flags such as holiday, seasonal or garden.
- Can we bring our own food into the water zone at Jellystone Park Zion? Click On Can we bring our own food into the water zone at Jellystone Park Zion? No outside food or drink is permitted in the water zone. Inside the water zone you will find food vendors, drinks, and retail items found in our Ranger Station. We do allow a precut cake or cupcakes to be brought into the water zone for birthday parties.
- What types of containers are allowed in the water zone at Jellystone Park Zion? Click On What types of containers are allowed in the water zone at Jellystone Park Zion? We don’t allow any glass bottles in the water zone areas of our Camp-Resort, only plastic containers. Coolers of drink or food purchased on-site are permitted.
- Can I smoke at Jellystone Park Zion? Click On Can I smoke at Jellystone Park Zion? Smoking, vaping, chewing, dipping, or any type of tobacco use is prohibited in all parts of the resort; especially the attractions around children. If you're renting an RV site you are allowed inside your camping designation. Smoking is strictly forbidden in our cabins. A $300 fee will be assessed for violations.
- Is Jellystone Park Zion pet-friendly? Click On Is Jellystone Park Zion pet-friendly? We love pets, and even have multiple dog parks and a dog agility course! However, they must always be on a leash or in a crate. Pets are not allowed to be tied up on RV sites and are not permitted at all on tent campsites. Pets are only allowed in pet-friendly cabins due to allergens. A $300+ fee will be assessed for violations. Fees for damages starting at $250 may also be assessed.
- Can we bring our own birthday party decorations to Jellystone Park Zion? Click On Can we bring our own birthday party decorations to Jellystone Park Zion? You are welcome to decorate a cabin for a birthday party, but you are responsible for cleanup, and we don’t allow pinatas or confetti. No decorations are allowed in the Water Zone.
