Splashground
This splashground has 165-foot long water slides, two kiddie water slides, 13 water blasters, two water cannons, and a 750-gallon hydrostorm bucket that periodically dumps 750 gallons of water on anyone standing beneath it. Prepare to get drenched!
Floating Obstacle Course
Play all day at the lake on our brand new inflatable water obstacle course! Race your friends across the course or bounce around at a leisure pace. Just make sure to wear your life jacket! Life jackets are supplied at the lake but are first come, first served. We suggest bringing a life jacket from home due to variable availability.
Ranger Smith™ Pool
Spend the day swimming in the Ranger Smith Pool with a swim-up bar for refreshments!
Water Zipline
Begin your zipline from the tower and zoom down into the lake with our water zipline.
Blue Ridge Mountain Coaster
The Blue Ridge Mountain Coaster will thrill and excite you! Wind down Cove Mountain on a mile of loops and curves at 25mph!

Take a ride in our lake in a canoe, kayak, stand-up paddle board, or pedal boat.

Gem Mining
Golden Valley Mining Co. is our very own mine and panning sluice. The mine is a fabricated shaft where campers can search for rocks, shells, and gemstones. Each panning kit contains an assortment of gemstones or fossils hidden among the sand!
Lookout Tower
Enjoy a hike to the top of Cove Mountain for a fantastic view from the lookout tower!
Ropes Course
Challenge your friends to an adventure on our Ropes Course located at the top of the Ridge.
Rock Climbing Wall

Wagon Rides
Enjoy a Hey Hey Hey wagon ride while camping in the North Carolina mountains. Glow sticks are available for purchase in the Ranger Station to light up the darkness during nighttime rides!
