Spend Some Time Camping in Tennessee
Tennessee is most famous for its Smoky Mountains, a majestic mountain range whose peaks stretch above the fog lines, giving the mountains a “smoky” look. The outdoor adventures are plentiful and include activities such as fishing, camping, hiking and off-roading. Tennessee is a great place to bring the family on a camping trip and the Jellystone Park™ campgrounds in Tennessee make your outdoor adventure fun and exciting.
Hiking the Smoky Mountains
The Smoky Mountain National Park is America’s most visited National Park, drawing in over 9,000,000 visitors each year. If you bring your family to our campground in Gatlinburg Tennessee , you will literally be at the doorstep of the mountains. There are countless hiking trails through the forest, where you will be introduced to a wide array of plant and animal life, rushing streams and powerful waterfalls. Don’t forget your camera as there will be countless photo opportunities, back dropped against the Country’s most popular National Park.
Visit the Grand Ole Opry
The Grand Ole Opry is perhaps the country’s most known and respected musical shows. Weekly stage concerts are performed by some of Country Music’s biggest stars. It is an honor to be asked to perform at “The Opry” and it is an even bigger treat to experience it as a family. When you camp with Yogi Bear at our campground in Nashville Tennessee , you will be only a short drive from all of the entertainment that Music City has to offer. The second weekend in June is when the CMA music festival comes to town, which gives you and your family all the more reason to come on down to our campgrounds.
Volunteer State Vacations
From winter to spring and summer to fall, there is more than enough to keep your whole family entertained in the Volunteer State. While camping in Tennessee, remember to keep things green with Yogi Bear — pick up your trash, clean up your campsite and leave the beautiful Tennessee forests the way you found them so others can enjoy their camping trip as much as you did.
