Located deep in the Great Smoky Mountains, this North Carolina campground features deluxe cabin rentals, tent sites and RV camping. Plus, many sites have a river view. Activities around the park include visiting Mingo Falls, The Cherokee Indian Museum, Harrah's Cherokee Casino or Smoky Mountain National Park (only 6 miles away!)

Age Restrictions: Must be 21 to make a cabin reservation, 18 to make a campsite reservation.

Pet Policy: 2 pet maximum per site. Must be on a leash. No dobermans, pit bulls or other agressive breeds. We have 9 pet friendly cabins. (2 pets max) We have 29 pet-free cabins.

  • The Cherokee Indian Museum

    "Welcome. I want to tell you a story, a very old story..." So begins your trip through the Museum of the Cherokee Indian. Totally renovated in 1998, the new museum tells the story of the Cherokee people using high-tech wizardry along with an extensive artifact collection. The museum opens daily at 9 a.m. except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children, and free for children under 6. Group rates are available, as well as AARP and AAA discounts.
