Campgrounds with Water Attractions? Jellystone’s Got 'Em!
For the nature lover, there's little that can beat camping in a tent, RV or cabin surrounded by forest, lakes, clear blue skies and fresh air. Unless you spend your vacation at any of our campgrounds with water attractions!
 All Jellystone Park campgrounds have, at the very least, a sparkling swimming pool for you and your family to enjoy. What's more, a few of our parks have heated, indoor pools for year round swimming and rainy days.
Many of our campgrounds offer guests the thrill of waterslides. Some locations have huge waterslides (they're big, they’re "bad" and they’re fast!), while others are of a more tame -- but no less fun -- variety. Either way, you're bound to have loads of cool, refreshing excitement.
Several of our campgrounds have water attractions known as splashgrounds. Our vacation resorts with splashgrounds offer your children -- or the child in you -- the chance to run around in a special playground where the idea is to get as wet as possible. Kids get squirted with water, water rains down from mushroom-shaped showers, and huge rocking buckets filled with water pour down. Your young ones will love the experience -- and you will enjoy watching them while relaxing in a nearby -- and dry -- lounge chair.
 While not all of our campgrounds offer water slides and splashgrounds, many do allow you the chance to get up close and personal with the water; via lakes, streams, rivers and beaches. Take a dip in a lake and then lie down on a towel on the lake's sandy beach. Read a book in your beach chair and watch your children wade in the lake. Or grab a tube and float down a river with your family and friends.
If you'd prefer to be on the water rather than in it, many Jellystone Parks offer their guests the chance to enjoy lakes, streams, rivers and ponds with a variety of watercraft. Take your kids for a ride around the lake in a paddleboat. Rent a kayak or canoe and get a little exercise while paddling around the lake or down a winding creek. Some campgrounds next to large lakes also have motorized boat rentals, such as small outboards or pontoon boats. Pack a lunch and your family, motor to a "hidden" cove and then dive in! When you’re ready for a swimming break, relax while you fill up on the sandwiches, snacks and drinks you've brought along.
 Anglers and others who enjoy nothing more than dropping a line into a river or lake and seeing what bites, will enjoy those Jellystone Park locations with trout streams. Some also have fishing derbies where you and your family members can compete for prizes.
No matter what kind of water adventure you seek, whether it be in a man-made pool or nature-made stream, our campgrounds with water attractions are sure to please.
