Jellystone Park™ Campground at Shangri-La in Milton, Pennsylvania has been recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Jellystone Park franchise system. The award recognizes Campgrounds that show a strong growth in business over the prior year.
Nestled in central Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna Valley at the foot of the Montour Ridge, Jellystone Park at Shangri-La is well-known for its family-friendly environment and its Halloween events, especially the popular Trail of Terror. Guests will find accommodations ranging from rustic tent sites to full-hookup RV pads and a full selection of Bunk, Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Lakefront cabins. Onsite amenities include a sparkling heated pool with a wading pool and cafe; a playground with a castle, Victorian playhouse, ship and train; Frisbee golf; a fully-stocked catch-and-release lake; hiking and nature trails; basketball; volleyball and more.
“We are thrilled to win this award and believe it’s testimony from all our loyal customers that we are giving them what they want in their vacation experience. We have had great continuity in our staff, who are always striving to improve our guests camping experience each year,” said campground owner Bruce Bryant. “We’ve also been very fortunate in a less-than-stellar economy to increase our guests’ length of stays and the frequency of their visits, which keeps our revenue growing.”
Themed weekends will provide additional family fun beginning April 8-10, with a different theme every weekend all summer long. Kids and adults alike will enjoy events like Chocolate Frenzy Weekend (May 20-22); Mardi Gras Weekend (June 3-5); Wild West Weekend (July 29-31); and Murder Mystery Weekend (August 12-14.)
The Jellystone Park Campground at Shangri-La is located at 670 Hidden Paradise Road in Milton and is open year-round. Find more information and reservations visit jellystoneshangri-la.com or call 888.386.9644.
