South by Southwest
Without a doubt, South by Southwest is Austin’s biggest music festival. The festival presents the work of both music and film artists every year during the middle of March. What’s even better is that the festival is just a short trip from our Canyon Lake Texas Campground. Bring the family RV down to Canyon Lake and experience a week long adventure filled with music, film and family fun. Tickets sell out quickly, so get yours in advance!
University of Houston Texas Music Festival
Every year, one of the most renowned college music programs in the country puts on its annual music festival. Although geared towards training and educating the young musicians, the wonderfully orchestrated sounds of the various bands are available for everyone to hear. Your family will be treated to classical, jazz, and other forms of orchestral music, presented by one of the premier music programs in the nation. Spend the weekend at our RV Park in Waller, Texas and mix in a trip down to the University of Houston. The festival conveniently takes place from early June through early July, making it an excellent summer vacation option.
Deep Ellum Art Festival
Located in the heart of the Dallas Metroplex area every year is the Deep Ellum Art Festival, a unique gathering of paintings, sculptures and of course…music. The early spring festival happens every year in April and offers free admission for you and your family. Shows and exhibits are open nightly so whether your family wants to peruse some modern art, listen to a live jazz band, or just relax in the park , the Deep Ellum Art Festival has what you’re looking for. Spend the weekend of the festival at our Campground in South Fort Worth and enjoy a short drive the festival on whichever day you choose to attend.
Yogi Bear’s Camp Jellystone Park-Resorts is proud to announce three new parks to the Jellystone family. One of the new parks is in Tyler Texas. This park is is located on 47 acres in the rolling hills of the East Texas Piney Woods north of Tyler, Texas. Whispering Pines is one of the most beautiful parks in the South and has exciting events during the year such as the Rose Festival and Festival on the Square.
Our Fredericksburg Jellystone Park is located in the middle of Texas wine country. Nestled in the Texas hill country, you can be sure your Texas camping adventure will be wonderful touring the wineries, or exploring this beautiful area.
Jellystone Park on Lake Livingston is also a new Jellystone Park. If you don’t know the Lake Livingston area, it is located about one hour’s drive north of Houston, and next to the Sam Houston National Forest. The area is known for tall pine trees, which makes it ideal for secluded camping.
