The Paramount Theater opened its doors in 1929 and is renowned for its incredible European architecture and famous ownership of the Paramount Movie Company. Before heading out to your Indiana family campground destination, consider planning your trip around a desired event listed on the calendar of the Theater.

Centrally located to all of the northern Indiana RV campgrounds , you will find the one and only Amish Acres in Nappanee, Indiana. Amish Acres is a historical heritage park displaying the unique way of life that literally stopped in time over 100 years ago. You and your family will enjoy viewing the cultural documentaries, taking a stroll on the horse drawn carriage over the 80 acre farm, walking through a real Amish home and more. With shopping, dining and entertainment on the horizon of Amish Acres, you and your family will certainly enjoy the pit stop on your way to your Indiana RV campground Destination.

The Jellystone Park at Knightstown Park is only minutes from the Railroad Depot Historic District. Also called the “Hoosier Bowery”, you and your family will enjoy a walk through the historic district as you admire the beauty of the buildings and how well they have been preserved. With the Pennsylvania Railroad Depot being the focal point of attention, you will also find a vast array of other entertaining hot spots like galleries, pubs and more. This small pit stop or day trip from your camping destination could be a ton of memories waiting to happen with you and your family.

Right smack dab in the middle of the state, is the fun filled capital of Indianapolis. This city boasts one family friendly adventure that will be sure to light up the eyes of kids – the Indianapolis zoo. Centrally located to all of the Jellystone RV parks in Indiana , it’s a breeze to jump off the I-70 and head north towards Washington Street. The Indianapolis Zoo contains a variety of entertaining options including 3-D rides, pony rides, water rides, interactive shows and not to mention hundreds of species of wild animals. As one of the top 10 zoos in America, you certainly can’t pass this opportunity by!

Come to the country and experience Hickory Hills Jellystone Park. The whole family will enjoy the outdoors in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere while enjoying the scenic view from one of our convenient campsites! You might also want to drop a fishing line in one of our lakes or possibly stroll along the riverbank. Enjoy a scenic hike through the woods, pan for gemstones in the sluice or take a boat ride in one of the lakes. If that sounds too exhausting, perhaps you will prefer just relaxing by the campfire while chatting with with new friends and neighbors.

Convenient to I-70 and other major highways and within an easy drive of Indianapolis, Terre Haute and Bloomington. From South: At the intersection of US231 and SR67 go north approximately 5 miles to South Cataract road,turn left and proceed 1 ½ miles to Hickory Road, turn right and proceed ½ mile to right bend in the road, which becomes Dixie Hill. Follow Dixie Hill to the office and gated front entry. Please do not block gated entry. From North: Exit I-70 at Exit 41.
