Indianapolis is centrally located between the seven Indiana Jellystone Parks and is home to several professional sports teams for football and basketball. Lucas Oil Field hosts the two time Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts whose indoor stadium always makes for a comfortable and exciting football experience. Indianapolis is also home to the professional basketball teams Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever. With the combination of schedules lasting all year round, you can easily plan your trip to have a day in Indianapolis to enjoy these awesome sporting events.

If you’re headed up to one of our Indiana Family Campgrounds at Portage, Plymouth or Fremont, you can be sure that you can catch one of the finest sporting traditions in sports history at South Bends University of Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are most commonly known for their spirited football and basketball teams but they also host a variety of exciting sporting events to attend such as baseball, track and field, hockey, soccer, tennis, softball and more. Only about one hour from our northern Indiana campgrounds, you can’t pass this opportunity up!

Moving south of the Indiana Capital, the Jellystone Park at Bloomington provides Indiana RV Camping within minutes of the famous Indiana University Hoosiers. Sharing the rivalry with the Boilermakers and Fighting Irish, the Hoosiers have won five national titles and 20 big ten titles for basketball. Among all of the other pristine collegiate athletics they offer, the basketball at Indiana University is the best option to take part of while visiting our Indiana RV Park at Bloomington.
