door each day to see if there is any group slips.
Take the slip down to the activities room and mark the
date and time of the group on the calendar, then put the slip
in the group tour bin in the activity room until the day before
they are scheduled.
Check the calendar each day for the upcoming groups
The day before a group arrives you need to see what they
have chosen for their tour.
The form that we use is on the back of this sheet. It
will give you all the information you need to set up for them.
If it is a craft or an activity with the bears you need
to make sure you are prepared. Crafts should be precut and packaged
to hand to each child their own kit.
If it is a ride with or without the bears you need to
let your supervisor know so that he or she can let maintenance
know what typee and time they need to be ready.
If it is games or relays please have the games and prizes
lined up and ready to go.
Story time make sure you have the story picked out and
the place where you are going to read the story.
If it is a campfire you will need to let your supervisor
know so that they can let maintenance know where and when to have
the fire ready. You will need to make sure you have the roasting
sticks from the wood shed out and cleaned up ready to go. Have
whatever supplies you need (hot dogs, marshmallows, etc.)
If it is a picnic lunch that we provide you will need
to coordinate with the kitchen help a couple days prior to their
arrival on what they requested, how many and what time that they

When they arrive meet and greet them and line up everything
with the group leader as to what times and where they need to

pay the balance.
When you are finished with the tour make sure you thank

go on the back of the picture. (Sample on Back)
You drive through the campground at the scheduled time.
Drive slow and when you see people, stop and ask them if they

Once you take the picture, let it develop (about 4 minutes)
then put it in the cutter, line it up, and cut to the correct
size. Put the yellow slip on the back of the picture and put in
the plastic keychain.
If you are doing this at the outdoor theater, take all
the pictures first and send the bears back to the activity room
to change; so they can help you cut the pictures.
Collect the $5.00 when you give the customer their pictures.
Make sure you have change. Keep track of how many pictures
you take and fill out the sheet with the date how many pictures

Put your picture sheet once weekly (Sundays) in Tracey's bin.
Do not play around and take pictures of each other. If
we find out, you will be responsible for the cost of each picture

Always put a light up necklace on to entice the customers to
purchase them for the wagon ride.
Bears should be dressed and over at the maintence building 10
minutes before the rides begin. This way we can have the bears
on the wagons before loading the customers.
Make sure the bear keepers have a flashlight to help with the
loading of the wagons and for safety of the bears.
Anyone on the wagon with a flashlight should be asked to point
them to the ground or turn them off; so that they don't blind
the drivers or the bears.
Once you are ready to close, clean up and make sure the tables
are wiped off and the snack bar is clean.
Lock up and shut off all the lights at the pavilion.
When you have tuck-ins scheduled, you need to give the office
the attached form and an envelope to collect for money.
First child is $3.00 and $2.00 for each additional child.
One hour before the time tuck-ins are to start, you need to
go to the office and pick up the form. Then you will be able to
tell if you need one bear or two. Eight children and under only
need one bear; but any more need two. (Use two drivers and make
sure the bears split up.)
Make sure you take a flashlight and camp map if you are not
sure where the sites are.
Each stop should not last more then 10 minutes. When pulling
up to the site, once stopped, (if there are people outside) yell
the names of the kids and tell them Yogi is here to tuck them
in. If it is a trailer, escort the bear into the trailer, on the
couch and have them snuggle and tuck the kids in.
