a camp store that is an integral part of the total operation. The
store provides a service & convenience to the camper, while also
being a viable profit center for the park properly merchandised stores
can produce up to 50% of the gross park revenues.
LSI provides training & information on all areas of managing
a camp store, primarily focusing on customized merchandise.
Jellystone Parks are one of the few places in North America where
consumers can buy custom "Yogi Bear" merchandise. LSI
offers over 200 customized re-sale items, most of which are exclusive
to Jellystone Parks. This large & unique selection varies greatly
in price & category, to make sure every customer is targeted.
All items go through a thorough approval process with Warner Brothers
for quality & trademark control, and there is a great new selection
LSI provides many opportunities & methods for the parks to
order custom merchandise. Franchisees are encouraged to place orders
at the annual symposium. Here the parks are able to see & touch
the merchandise for the upcoming year, as well as take advantage
of generous terms & discounts. LSI staff is also available at
this time to answer questions and listen to suggestions. A full
color catalog is also provided to each park during symposium, and
is a great reference tool for ordering at a later time.
Another convenient way to browse & order merchandise is through
the franchisee website. LSI offers a sophisticated online merchandise
store that is quick & easy to use.
Not only does Jellystone park merchandise provide a great source
of income to the parks onsite, but merchandise can also serve as
promotional collateral once it leaves the park. This is why LSI
encourages it's franchisees to develop and buy merchandise
pertinent to their locations. LSI will submit these items for Warner
Brother's approval on behalf of the parks.
