  • Carthage, Knightstown & Shirley Railroad

Take a one hour trip back in time on this nostalgic, wheel-clacking, whistle-blowing excursion. The train travels a five-mile stretch of the old Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad. Heading south out of Knightstown, it crosses the National Road (U.S. 40), and passes under the old "Pennsy" railroad bridge. Passengers get a great perspective of rural Indiana, ranging from cornfields and cool woodland ravines, to the picturesque Big Blue River.
