Take a Ride

Jellystone Park™ campgrounds have rides for fun and rides for convenience. Whether you like to take a scenic tour of the campground, or just get from point A to B quicker, take a ride with Yogi Bear™ and friends! Enjoy the ride with Jellystone Park Campgrounds!

Wagon Rides

Kids of all ages love an old-fashioned wagon ride. Find a spot on the wagon and relax while you’re pulled around the park. Wave to other campers and sing songs. Yogi Bear or Boo Boo™ usually tag along, which makes it even more exciting. For many kids, the wagon ride is the highlight of their day.

“When do we get to ride with Yogi Bear?!” they’ll beg. Some campgrounds pull the wagon by tractor and some by truck. Because of the mess real hay makes, most parks call it a “Hey” ride and you’ll sit on a bench instead of a hay bail. No matter what you’re sitting on, though, the wagon ride is a memorable part of your family vacation and one that’s a “must-do” during your stay.

Fire Truck Rides

What’s cooler to a kid then riding on a big red, shiny fire truck? Not much, except getting to blow the horn too! Several Jellystone Park campgrounds have purchased old fire trucks and offer rides to campers.

Train Rides

All aboard the Jellystone Park Express! Kids are fascinated by trains and will love seeing the campground from the seat of a kid-sized locomotive. For safety, the trains run on wheels instead of tracks.

At the Jellystone Park in Mill Run, Pennsylvania, you can even ride in a giant pic-a-nic basket called the Picnic Basket Express!

Pedal Carts

Pedal cart rentals are very popular at Jellystone Park campgrounds. For a small fee, hop in a cart and feel the wind in your hair as you zip around the park. Pedal as fast as you can and race your friends. Of course, you’ll need to obey the rules of the road and watch out for cars and RVs.

Golf Carts

Need a few bags of ice from the camp store, but your RV campsite is half a mile away? Need to haul three kids along with towels, sunscreen and toys to the pool? Want to join new friends for a campfire on the other side of the campground? Many of our larger parks have golf cart rentals so you don’t have to walk everywhere. Just jump in the cart, step on the gas, and get to your destination in a fraction of the time.
