It's fun to make stuff! You can create your
own vacation souvenir at one of our many arts
& crafts activities. Each location has a
different recreation schedule, but an arts &
crafts activity typically takes place at least
once a day.
Here are some of the highlights:
Tie-Die: It's groovy, baby! Bring
your own white T-shirt or purchase a Jellystone
Park™ logo shirt in the camp store and choose your
favorite colors to create a psychedelic pattern.
Ceramics: Tap into your inner artist
by painting a ceramic sculpture. For a small fee (typically
$1 - $10), you'll get a paint kit and your choice
of ceramic piece. If you want to stick with a Jellystone
theme, choose from a Yogi Bear™, Boo Boo™, or Cindy Bear™ bank. You can also pick from a wide assortment of
animals and scenes.
Sandy Candy/Pucker Powder: What's tastier
to kids than a tube of colored sugar? Parks typically
charge between 50 cents and $1 for a clear plastic tube
that you fill up with a variety of colors and flavors.
It' s a great treat for when you're standing in
line for the 5 p.m. hayride.
